A House of cards….

It is only recently that I realized that our constitution is basically just a piece of paper with no meaning. It was written by men with ideals who expected that men with ideals would be running the country. Without a moral compass within the halls of our congress, it’s not worth the paper it was written on. It’s been a slow erosion to where we are, but Trump’s reign hurried it along. He would not abide with the unwritten laws about anything. To him, if it wasn’t a law no attention needed to be paid, from showing his tax returns to many other abuses. Even impeachment didn’t work to stop him. And now we’ve reached a point of no return. Subpoenas no longer work — all you have to do is ignore them.

So basically we are heading into a time of utter disregard for what has held our democracy together for 246 years. They say that democracies last around 200 to 250 years — well, here we are. What usually follows is an autocracy. Our wealth disparity is…
