I don’t think I made myself clear in my last article. I talked about college education and congressional members lack thereof being a factor in what’s going on in the country. What I was trying to say was that the dumbing down of the country, that is in my opinion being perpetrated by the Republican party, (i.e. book banning, curriculum gag orders) is causing all manner of problems regarding not only our youth, but also people running for office and those who vote for them. The people who are leading our country should be respected. But how can you respect someone who is yelling about conspiracy theories at the top of her lungs? And is a sex trafficker (never charged, I know — but we all know the truth) who votes against an anti-sex trafficking bill a good candidate to represent the country? What about a guy who lied about every single thing about himself? Even the hint of scandal should prevent these people from being able to run for office. But it doesn’t. Maybe I was on the wrong track about education, because education has nothing to do with our justice department. They seem to be afraid that if they do ANYTHING it will upset the country. Well, I for one, am more upset by this sorry state of affairs. Trump is running, as free as a bird, and we have an out-of-control congress filled with people who are hell bent on wasting taxpayers money with their antics for the next two years.

In my real life I’m a fantasy/mystery author. What I’ve written so far on Medium have been political opinion pieces. But that is changing!
