Another Perspective

I just listened to my astrologer and friend, Emily Trinkaus, who talked about this issue we are all up in arms about — Roe. She spoke in terms of the astrological positions that are currently in play. But since I am not adept when it comes to Astrology I will try and put what she said into my own words — and filtered through my own consciousness as well. She also mentioned that just as we were coming together as a nation this document was ‘leaked’. Divide and conquer? Now we’re in bitter conflict once again, screaming and hating one another as we stand on one side or the other of this hotly contested issue.

What is happening in this country is the awakening to what we’ve always had. Men cannot take away our sovereign right to our bodies — they can’t decide when a fetus is viable or whether or not we can abort or not abort. Women are the ONLY ones who have that right. We’ve lost touch with our connections to the earth, our spiritual connections to ourselves and our sisters and brothers. We live in fear of those in authority instead of taking our authority. No one can decide for us or make us think we have no power when it comes to what we want or need.

Men cannot decide our fates, nor can religion. Doctors are not needed when it comes to birth. If there are complications, then, yes, but otherwise it is a completely natural process that has been taken over by the medical community as…
