If democracy means the people choose, we no longer have one. As I remember 75% of this country wanted Roe to remain in place. A few men decided against women’s right to choose and now we have Republican led legislatures deciding to erode women’s rights even further. People need to realize that not voting is the worst thing they can do. If we don’t vote for those who have our best interests at heart we are the ones allowing our rights to disappear. We cannot blame this on anyone else.

Not only have legislatures and governors decided to keep women under their thumbs, they are also taking away our educational rights by banning books and keeping topics that they deem controversial out of the classroom. Is this what the people want? This is a fraction of our country deciding for the majority. And when you have minority rule you can no longer call yourself a democracy.

The Republican party is now dangerous. What they seem to want is a ruling class and a bunch of uneducated workers. It is obvious in every single thing they do — lower taxes for the extremely wealthy, attempting to block minority voting, not allowing teachers to teach, actually saying out loud that their solution to immigration is to shoot on sight. Women are chattel to them, actually like breeding cows. In four states, fetuses have more power than the women carrying them. They want to control what people hear, and with the lies on social…
