Going Crazy and coming back

Does this look like a typewriter? I thought it did. So, when I go crazy I write. I also write when I’m not going crazy. Today is the ‘coming back’ part. I was crazy the last time I posted about OBGYN’s, but with good reason. That’s the problem these days — too many things to go crazy about. I still stand behind what I wrote, but later in the same day I was about to start a FB group called Women against Tyranny — that is until I realized that I don’t have enough followers to make even a small dent in what’s happening in this country.

I was inspired by the writings of Timothy Snyder. If you haven’t heard of him, (I hadn’t), look him up. I bought two copies of the graphic version of his book entitled, On Tyranny, 20 lessons from the twentieth century. If you need credentials, he’s got ’em. I’m giving the graphic versions to my grandsons. I also ordered another for myself. The first lesson is: Do Not Obey in Advance. From there it goes on to say that most of the power of authoritarianism is freely given. … ‘a citizen who adapts this way is teaching power what it can do.’ This is what is happening in Florida and in Texas and in several other states that have gone Red. Interesting that red is the color of the communist countries —it’s the color of revolution. But these people in charge don’t want communism, or revolution — they want to run everything. And apparently, the people who voted for them are…
