Just learned something else about the United States today. Listening to NPR revealed that most of our insurance companies are for profit. (Blue Cross is non-profit) Put that together with jails and you have a completely upside down set of values going. Jails is probably the most egregious — putting people in prisons becomes the main point, doesn’t it? The more people in jails the more profits. I remember when I first heard this idea discussed. I thought to myself — that won’t happen, it’s a conflict of interest. Well, I guess it isn’t for those who are invested in it. And hospitals too — for profit. Have you noticed that a lot of them are going out of business? How can you have investors waiting for their dividends in a situation like that? It is truly unbelievable to me.

And now we have insurance companies — no wonder our health care is in shambles. Obamacare promised that 85% would go into patient care — well, apparently they managed to get around that particular rule — just as they do with everything. (‘they’ meaning the ones in charge) You have investors who want more money, and the people who need insurance being denied in favor of them. You wonder why that United Health CEO was shot? Expect more of the same — Trump wants to get rid of all non-profits. Hmmm…

Schools will be next and gods know what else — there isn’t one single thing the country cares about more. (when I say country I mean…
