I am so with you on this...I am beyond frustrated and see the many excuses that keep piling on as NOTHING is accomplished. Why do we even bother pretending that things can change? It's becoming more and more obvious that they can't and they won't because our system is geared to keep things the same...and then the midterms come and everyone screams about how nothing got done and they vote the other party in...
