I so agree with you. The midterms will show us where we stand. As far as getting rid of filibuster and gerrymandering, it will never happen as long as we have such a slim majority--I am actually hopeful now that they shot themselves in the foot regarding veterans' rights. If they do not manage to finagle the electoral process we might stand a chance.
