Joe Manchin is now in competition for the most hated man in America…

He and McConnell will have to duke it out for the prize. Not sure how Manchin can call himself a democrat…he has single handedly taken what could have been a tiny ray of hope away from millions of people, many of whom live in his hometown. Even the coal miners are begging him to reverse course! What is his deal? Who is paying him? Is it the Republican party or is it even more sinister — the special interests who want him to work against anything that could stop their polluting ways?

And he has already said that he won’t go for the voting rights bill. What democrat in their right mind does this? Can he be drummed out of the party? I am beyond disgusted with this hypocrite who apparently said one thing to Biden and another to Fox news. Follow the money I guess is the key here. Who is paying him? Because it’s patently obvious that someone is. You can’t tell me that his constituents want to miss out on child tax credits, universal pre K, increased health care coverage, investment in affordable housing and nutritional security for the poor. West Virginia is one of the poorest states. Are they really telling Manchin NOT to vote for this? I don’t believe it.
