Life in 2020
You may be a Trump supporter, or you may not. I am not, and this is why. I have felt from the beginning that Trump was a flim-flam man (look it up) who cares nothing about our country. He is in it only for personal gain — and boy oh boy has he gotten what he wanted! To see the lengthy list of the increases in his wealth, you need only look it up on google. I see him as a person with ego problems that are so vast there is no end to them — major emotional problems that stem from his childhood. And there is virtually no end to how we suffer as a result of his attempt to build up his ego in the name of doing something GREAT. You’ve met his kind on the playground — the one who wants to be at the top of the slide and doesn’t care how many kids he hurts to get there. IMO I think there needs to be a psychological test for anyone who wishes to sit at the head of this country. (We all read it when he first got in — the psychiatrists who were waying in on his mental state.)
I have suffered these past three years, worried about climate change, the extinction of animal species, our public lands shrinking, the rush for more oil even though we have plenty. Drill baby drill. The lack of an immigration policy and the cruel treatment of those who are trying to escape poverty and violence in their own countries. The border is a war zone, filled with desperate people and our very own ICE who have been given the green light to do anything they want. Militarized. THE WALL, which stops animal migration and makes our neighbors feel like pariahs. This is the time to take down walls, not build them!
