Our country has lost its soul

If we had a soul once, which is debatable, we began to lose it after Eisenhower. There was a time when we were the beacon to the world, the good guys, the white hats, the ones that looked after other countries that were less well off. Our people had houses and good jobs. We worked for one company who paid well and when we retired we had a pension. Educated or not, we were able to find good work and a decent retirement. College was free…
