REDUX…

Biden has announced formally. Seriously? I cannot believe this, but here it is — looks like there will be another 2020 election in 2024. (not sure about the Trump part yet, but thinking probably.) The democratic party has announced that it won’t hold a primary, so basically we have no choice, even though the latest polls say that 73% of the country does not want Biden to run. People on the right don’t want Trump to run again either.

Why will the democrats NEVER listen to the people? Why can’t we the people decide who runs? They did the same thing in 2020 — kicked Bernie off, and put Biden in. Yes, he won and I was happy for it. But now? With tech going crazy, and the world moving so fast? AI poised to be used by the Pentagon? Does anyone see how dangerous that is?

We’ve seen how much the people in congress know and understand about the tech industry and social media — zilch. A bunch of old white men just doesn’t cut it anymore. We need younger people, both men and women. And I would like to see a woman run, and not Hillary. How about a choice? How about we open this up and let others come in? Is there anything we can do about this? Write candidates in? Of course that will be a useless exercise. Even Bernie has now said he won’t primary Biden — they are sticking to a precedent that has no relevance anymore.
