Shock

Many must feel the stress of this past six weeks. For me it has led to three trips to ER and three to Urgent Care. I’m okay, but the constant stress is causing a lot of symptoms. I am now attempting to not read the news, but I have to say it is addictive right now — it’s like watching a train wreck in slow motion.

There is no point in going through all the details of what’s happened and happening. None of it is good. But I will say that the heartlessness and unbelievable greed is astounding. I have come to the conclusion that many people in government are one step away from pyschopathy…is that a word? In other words the ones running our country right now are either psychopathic or narcissists or both. And then there are those who are going along because they are terrified that if they don’t their lives will be ruined. I guess this is always what happens in the beginning stages of fascism.

People in this country and many others are suffering right now — horribly. We have let down those who trust us to help them stay alive, cut off necessary funding to not only other countries but also our own people. And these sudden reversals are hurting our farmers as well. Everything is connected, so stopping one thing trickles down to a whole bunch of other things. Our government agencies and programs are complicated. Who would have thunk it? And now we have an unelected tech bro and his minions infiltrating our most…
