The Future of the un-United States

No, this photo isn’t us protesting about anything. It is France out in force because Macron raised the pension age by TWO years. From 62 to 64. They refuse to go along with this kind of shit. Republicans want to change our medicare age from 65 to 70. Because of life expectancy, they say. Our life expectancy is actually going down. But the French want to live, not work. They want to drink wine and enjoy things. Many of us here seem to only want to work — we don’t really know how to enjoy our lives. We are scared to death to go on vacation for fear someone else might claim our place. I’m not talking about the obscene rich here, or even those secure in their jobs, I’m talking about regular working Americans, many of whom have never left this country.

My main point is, the French protest. They do not sit idly by as their rights are taken away. What in hell is happening here??? Yes, we protested for a minute after Roe fell. Now, not so much — or maybe we are, and the news doesn’t ever show it? Honestly, I wouldn’t put it past them. Has anyone noticed the changes to Google? When I google very specific subjects having to do with our history and the 40 years in planning of the Republican takeover, I get zilch. Sometimes I google things and what I’m googling is replaced with an entirely different subject. This trend is scary to me.
