There has been a plot afoot to have a unitary presidency since the early days of Cheney etc...now they have their goon. I suppose what the party of Trump wants is an oligarchy, sort of like medieval Europe where it's the nobles and the serfs. It's certainly well on the way right now, with the homeless population rising exponentially since Covid and the lack of help for the poor. It is astounding how quickly we have fallen.
