Seriously? This is what we’re talking about? Do we plan to go back in history and change everything that might be offensive in our age of ridiculousness? Bill Mayer says it all. But remember, he is talking about a dictatorship when he mentions China. On the other hand I agree with most of what he says. We (our news) deflect from anything important, trying to get people either riled up or distracted. Can anyone think for themselves? This is an age of silliness.

Meanwhile the country is poised on the edge of civil war between a party that still believes that Trump won the election and the other side who actually did win. We have members of Congress who don’t believe in democracy and others who are sexual predators who refuse to step down. But political parties aside, we have a crisis on our hands. Starting with the most crucial issue: climate change. Is anyone paying attention?

I just moved from Tucson to Santa Cruz, Ca. — Tucson is heating up and the monsoons have been non-existent for several years. Now I am faced with the lack of rain in California. Storms predicted but instead of 2 inches of rain, rainfall was not even enough to measure. Spring arrived and the trees blossomed. But there were NO bees on the flowers. I’ve noticed a lack of songbirds as well. And my beloved hummingbirds have not yet found the flowers I’ve planted especially for them, or the…
