Wolves

I love these creatures. Found out just this morning that the Biden administration is planning to take away federal protections for these animals. I can find no reason why — there is no rationale listed. I am furious and upset. There is already a killing spree going on — can you imagine what will happen when the states are the ones in charge? Just like the elimination of Roe, there will be a bloodbath.

Biden is not running for office — why would he do this after his March decision to protect them? Is this some tit for tat that we don’t know about? I can only hope that NRDC, Center for Biodiversity or Earthjustice will sue. They have sued before and won.

These animals serve a vital purpose. They are part of the web of life. There have been studies done about this. Of course we’ve broken the web in so many places that it is almost impossible to repair it. But we still need to try.

I would never had thought that a democrat in the white house would do something like this, and yet this man opened up Alaska for drilling. I suppose it’s some political move. Can I say how sick I am of politics???

I am calling my representative and senator on Monday — I have written a letter to Biden…I have contacted NRDC and Earthjustice. If you are like minded please do what you can. These beautiful animals should not be wiped out. And they will be if we don’t act.

And yes, I understand how ranchers hate them. I am not a rancher but even if I was, I would find a way to protect my stock. I would not kill the wolves willy nilly.
